The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, on Friday, spoke about the recent allegation of sexual harassment leveled against him by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.

Akpabio spoke at the ceremony to mark the 2025 International Women’s Day where the Senate promised commitment to advancing gender equality and removing barriers to women’s progress across the country.

Following counter allegations between Senator Natasha and the Senate President, the Kogi Senator was suspended by the Senate on Thursday for six months for violation of the Red Chambers rules.
