Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday paid condolence visit to Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State over the death of his mother, Safara’u Radda.

Also paying the condolence at the Governor’s Residence of the Katsina Government House, were a former Governor of Katsina State, Ibrahim Shema; a former Secretary to the Katsina State Government, Mustapha Inuwa; Deputy Governor of Borno State, Umar Kadafur as well as delegation from the former PresidentMuhammadu Buhari among other important personalities.

Since the death of the 93-year-old Safara’u Umaru on Saturday, Katsina State has been witnessing an inflow of important personalities for condolences to the Governor and good people of the state.

Sympathisers described the death as a great loss not only to Katsina State but also the country at large.

They also prayed for God to grant the deceased Jannatul Firdausi and give the family the courage to bear the irreparable loss.
