Gov Sani, Gates Foundation Sign Accountability Framework On Health, Agriculture

The partnership will strengthen Primary healthcare, to strengthen primary healthcare,  boost maternal and child health, improve the agriculture sector by promoting sustainable practices,  boost productivity, and improve market access.


 

Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, has signed the state Mutual Accountability Framework (KaMAF) with the Gates Foundation. 

The framework was signed on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

 

The partnership is part of a strategic engagement with the Gates Foundation to strengthen primary healthcare,  boost maternal and child health, improve the agriculture sector by promoting sustainable practices,  boost productivity, and improve market access.

 

The framework will also strengthen data systems to support decision-making, monitoring, and evaluation, to ensure a transparent budgeting process.

It will also enhance financial and digital inclusion,  with a focus on especially on women’s resilience.

 

At  the event, Governor Sani described the Mutual Accountability Framework with the Gates Foundation as a pivotal milestone for Kaduna State’s development journey, noting that the framework, when implemented,  will improve the health outcomes,  food security, and economic inclusion in Kaduna State.
