Her direct style and attacking threat proved vital during decisive fixtures that pushed the club ahead in the title race.
Reacting to the triumph, Babajide celebrated the achievement on social media, reflecting on her journey from humble beginnings in London to becoming a league champion in Italy.
“!CHAMPIONSSSS¡ From cage football in Brixton with @afewee_brixton to winning the Serie A Women’s league in Rome ~ growing up, I always felt like we weren’t meant to make it out of where I’m from, but we break barriers and change the odds regardless, and I don’t take this one lightly … thankful for my community, fans, and loved ones! You are the best,” she stated on X.
The Super Falcons forward also described the title as a reward for years of sacrifice and determination.
“God did! Season after season of persistence, hard work, sacrifice, patience, and self-belief which have made it all worth it.
“My first league title. Guys, always dream big and never give up; you never know how close you are towards achieving your goals,” Babajide stated.

Oladipo emerged as an important figure in the squad, delivering disciplined defensive displays and adding depth to the team’s backline during a demanding campaign that saw Roma compete across multiple fronts.
The 21-year-old was named the Serie A Femminile Best Defender of the Season after a standout campaign in Italy with AS Roma Women.
She received the award following her influential performances in Roma’s title-winning campaign, which secured the club a third championship in four seasons.
The former FC Robo Queens player was also involved in Nigeria’s squad that won the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in July 2025.
The success marks another major milestone for Nigerian players making waves in European football, with Babajide and Oladipo further strengthening their reputations ahead of future Super Falcons assignments.
