Gov Fintiri Receives New NSCDC State Commandant, Reaffirms Commitment To Security

The NSCDC State Commandant pledged to work closely with the state government and other security agencies to strengthen security across Adamawa.

Governor Umaru Fintiri has received the newly posted Adamawa State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Nasiru Saleh, during a courtesy visit to the Government House in Yola.

Governor Fintiri welcomed the new Commandant to Adamawa State and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working closely with security agencies to safeguard lives and property across the state.

The Governor stressed the importance of effective collaboration among security agencies in addressing emerging security challenges and maintaining peace, law, and order.

He assured the NSCDC of the state government’s continued support in creating an enabling environment for the Corps to effectively discharge its constitutional responsibilities.

Speaking earlier, Commandant Saleh said the visit was to formally introduce himself following his posting to Adamawa State and to seek the Governor’s support and cooperation.

The NSCDC State Commandant pledged to work closely with the state government and other security agencies to strengthen security, protect critical national assets and infrastructure, and enhance the safety of residents across Adamawa State.
