The management of the Federal University Wukari, Taraba State, has shut down the institution.
The move followed a protest staged by the Tiv Students Union over the alleged kidnap of their colleagues.
According to a statement released and approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abubakar Kundiri, the management directed that all activities should stop until further notice, to avoid an escalation of any crisis.
