Nigeria rowing, sailing and canoeing team has won 10 medals at the 4th Africa Canoe Slalom Sprint Championship in Nairobi, Kenya

The team led by an Olympian Jonathan Akinyemi, won six gold, two silver and two bronze medals in kayaking.

On their arrival at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, they called for more tournaments and support to enhance the growth of the sport.

Kenya, South Africa, Tunisia, Morocco, Uganda and Senegal participated in the event held at the Sagana water falls and adventures.
