The second edition of the +234 contemporary art fair opened on March 26 in Lagos, Nigeria’s cultural capital, and will run for four days. The aim of the event, which is held alongside the main Nigerian contemporary art fairs in October and November, is to showcase some 200 young artists and bring out the talents of tomorrow. Artists, gallery owners, collectors, art lovers, diplomats and businessmen attended the opening on the evening of March 26.
