Amid the constitution amendment process in Nigeria, the Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Musa Aliyu, has advocated the inclusion of specific deadlines for top corruption cases involving politicians and prominent persons.
The senior advocate, who was a guest on Channels Television’s Inside Sources programme, said corruption cases should not be open-ended but have definite deadlines for diligent prosecution and closure.
