Adesewa Josh

Adesewa is a Columbia University graduate student; Politics & Global Affairs Major. She has a postgraduate diploma in international relations and strategic studies.

She is a News Anchor and Producer. She is the Africa presenter/producer of The UNTV Series; 21st Century.

Adesewa has reported on major international events like the Historic US-Africa Leaders’ Summit at the White House in Washington DC and The George W. Bush African First Ladies conference in Dareesalam Tanzania.

In 2015, Adesewa Josh was assigned to the United Nations headquarters in New York to report on Nigeria’s rotational presidency at the Security Council where she deeply analyzed the resolutions of the council and how it affects the nation and continent.

Adesewa holds a certificate in TV presenting from UK’s Aspire Presenting Institute. She trained as a producer with the BBC. She recently received the prestigious Women Making a Difference Award for her distinguished strides in the media and community service. She is a member of the Young African Leader Initiative Network (YALI), Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJ) and an Associate fellow of the Nigerian Leadership Initiative.
