Foluso Oluwafemi is a Human Development Economist and an experienced HR Professional, focused on the ideals of building daily, strongly motivated individuals & teams in a highly commitment work environment with very strong performance management culture, thereby making company services compete favorably in the market place, ultimately realizing business goals and results.
As a HR Infrastructural Specialist, He has a strong focus on capacity building, work systems development, performance management, operational efficiency, organizational effectiveness and talent management systems, with an eye for continuous improvement opportunities in operations and projects.
With his strong background in Econometrics, He has built numeric capability to deliver Business & HR Analytics. Through analytical insights, He provides business partnership and leadership that delivers significant bottom line savings to the company, improves operational efficiency & organizational effectiveness, and creates people advantage through the deployment of effective talent management systems.
Presently, he heads the Human Resource department at Channels Television Lagos, ensuring the accountable alignment of HR strategy and programs within the organizational strategy and its objectives to achieve business profitability and sustainability.
He has worked with different top companies including, Dangote Flour mills Plc, Tiger Brands Consumer Goods Plc, PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc, Nigerian Bottling Company Plc.
Foluso started his career in Human Resources Management as a Generalist, was involved in plant HR management/ operations encompassing human resources planning, recruitment & selection, training & development, budgeting, payroll administration, employee relations & engagement, industrial relations, mentoring, coaching, administration of discipline/benefits, and change management. Later, he moved on to other roles in HR Analytics, Compensation & Benefits and Talent Management.
He holds a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He’s an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria and Member, Society of Human Resources Management amongst other certifications. He is happily married with children.
