The Guinness world record dancer, Kafayat Oluwatoyin, popularly known as Kaffy, has called on Nigerian dancers to take on their act and welfare seriously.
Kaffy in interview with Channels Television lamented that despite the huge contributions of dancers to the entertainment industry, the industry has failed to reward them even has it continues to recording impressive growth.
“I feel we as dancers actually have a lot to do, we can blame the system for not giving us but we also need to continue to prove to the system that we deserve it.”
The choreographer however advised dancers to start looking internally and understand what the economy can provide for them rather than depending on music videos and shows.
“I think we should live above the survival mode and live for the essence of the growth of the industry,” she said.
