Popstar Miley Cyrus clapped back at her social media haters on Thursday over her recent split with longtime partner Liam Hemsworth, an Australian actor, to deny allegations that she cheated on him.

“I can accept that the life I’ve chosen means I must live completely open and transparent with my fans who I love, and the public, 100% of the time. What I cannot accept is being told I’m lying to cover up a crime I haven’t committed. I have nothing to hide,” the 26-year-old superstar tweeted.

She then detailed a laundry list of her youthful exploits, including “I lost a massive Walmart deal at 17 for ripping a bong” and “I got kicked off hotel Transylvania for buying Liam a penis cake for his birthday and licking it.”

“I swung on a wrecking ball naked,” referring to the video for her 2013 hit that saw her image grow decidedly more provocative than her days as a teen idol thanks to the hit show “Hannah Montana.”

“But the truth is, once Liam & I reconciled, I meant it, & I was committed. There are NO secrets to uncover here,” she continued. “I can admit to a lot of things but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating. Liam and I have been together for a decade. I’ve said it before & it remains true, I love Liam and always will.”

“BUT at this point, I had to make a healthy decision for myself to leave a previous life behind. I am the healthiest and happiest I have been in a long time. You can say I am a twerking, pot-smoking, foul-mouthed hillbilly but I am not a liar.”

The couple married in December in a private ceremony after a decade-long on-again, off-again relationship.

Hemsworth on August 12 released a statement to confirm the separation and “wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.”

In an interview for Elle magazine’s July issue, Cyrus said she did not “fit into a stereotypical wife role” and that she was “very sexually attracted to women.” Cyrus reportedly declared as a young teen that she was “pansexual.”

Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth To Separate – Reports

Popstar Miley Cyrus and her husband actor Liam Hemsworth have agreed to separate after less than a year of marriage, People magazine has reported.

“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and their careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals,” a representative for Cyrus was quoted as telling People.

Cyrus’s management team did not immediately reply to AFP requests for confirmation.

People said that rumours of a split between the 26-year-old singer and her Australian husband, who is 29, began a day earlier when Cyrus — who has been ranked as one of the world’s most powerful celebrities — posted a photo of herself on Instagram not wearing a wedding ring.

The couple have had a long and at times stormy relationship.

They met in 2009 while filming the romantic drama “The Last Song.” In 2012 they were engaged but ended the engagement the following year.

In 2016, they got engaged again.

And in December 2018 they married in a private ceremony at their home in Nashville, Tennessee, only a month after losing their California home in a wildfire.

But in an interview for Elle magazine’s current issue, Cyrus said that she didn’t like the idea of being called “wife,” which she said was “confusing.”

She said she did not “fit into a stereotypical wife role” and that she was “very sexually attracted to women.” Cyrus reportedly declared as a young teen that she was “pansexual.”

The daughter of country star Billy Ray Cyrus and of actress/producer Tish Cyrus, Miley has had a huge profile in the entertainment world. She played in the Disney series “Hannah Montana,” repeatedly hosted “Saturday Night Live” and served as a coach on the television singing competition “The Voice.”

She was MTV’s Artist of the Year in 2013 and was selected the same year by Time magazine as a finalist for Person of the Year honours.

Hemsworth — whose brothers Chris and Luke are also actors — has starred in movies including “Isn’t It Romantic” and the “Hunger Games” series.

‘Paranoia’ Movie Review

“Paranoia,” a new movie about a war between tech oligarchs and the corporate espionage they undertake to destroy each other, makes its debut in Los Angeles with stars Harrison Ford, Liam Hemsworth, Amber Heard, and Richard Dreyfuss. The movie was directed by Robert Luketic

Singer Miley Cyrus, engaged to Liam Hemsworth and Calista Flockhart married to Ford, also attended the screening at the theater at the Directors Guild of America Headquarters in West Hollywood.

“Paranoia” is capitalizing on the currency of the Snowden  issue, a movie that delves into issues that are all too current today, with government wiretapping and the Edward Snowden saga taking center stage, with Harrison Ford adding to the conversation lamenting that privacy doesn’t really exist anymore, in essence.

The movie depicts a young and ambitious wiz-kid who becomes a pawn in a fierce rivalry between tech billionaires. As the young superstar is seduced by unlimited wealth and power, he is hired by one to spy on the other’s company from the inside, he realizes his life is in danger too late, and that he is in far too deep and knows far too much for them to let him walk away.

Hemsworth, an Australian actor best known for his role as Gale Hawthorne in the “Hunger Games” films, said acting between heavyweights Ford and Oldman was a tall order.

The talk on the red carpet wasn’t all about “Paranoia,” with news breaking this week of Harrison Ford replacing Bruce Willis in the upcoming third installment of the “Expendables” film.

When asked why he was participating in the series, “the first two have earned a combined $575 million dollars  world-wide Ford” said.

“Paranoia” opens nationwide on August 16.
