In what can only be considered as the coming together of two kings, the smartphone for everyone brand, itel Mobile has unveiled Afro-pop star, Olamide Adedeji as its official brand ambassador.

The signing of the famous Afro-pop star is informed by the brand’s desire to enhance consumer engagement and endear more fans to her community.

Olamide’s YBNL Signs Joint-Venture Deal With Empire Distribution

 

Nigerian rapper and YBNL boss Olamide Adedeji has signed a joint-venture deal with American music distribution and record label Empire Distribution.

The legendary Nigerian rapper popularly called Olamide announced his label’s new feat via a brief statement on Twitter.

Excited about the news, Olamide wrote “Happy to announce that YBNL and Empire got a joint venture deal. Myself and Fireboy with any other act I sign next ready to shake the world.”

He also thanked his fans for their patience, “Big thanks to the fans for holding on for so long and believing.. Switching it up n f***ing the world up is the motive. So make nobody fear when gobe start…”

“Time to get to work and serve you guys new Baddo album and new Fireboy album 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 who’s ready ? #YBNLEMPIRE,” the rapper said.

Similarly, Empire released a statement via its Twitter page.

After first acknowledging that “Nigeria going global” the music distribution and record label stated that it is  excited to continue its journey with Olamide and the YBNL family.”

 

Nigerian Entertainment Conference To Hold On April 22

This is according to a statement issued on Monday, by organizers, NET Newspaper.

The umbrella conference for the Nigerian entertainment sector which debuted in 2013, would see everyone come together again at Eko Hotels in Lagos, for a full day of deliberations, workshops, exhibitions and master-classes.

Past editions have featured renowned celebrities including 2face Idibia, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Amaka Igwe, Kenny Ogungbe, Jimmy JATT, Basketmouth, M.I, Don Jazzy, Kunle Afolayan, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Lagbaja, Tony Okoroji, Audu Maikori, D’banj and Ali Baba; as well as respected executives like Aina Kushoro, Emeka Mba, Chris Ubosi, Ayo Animashaun, Olisa Adibua, Colette Otusheso, Steve Babaeko, Ifeoma Williams, Efe Omorogbe, Frank Nweke, Gab Okoye, and Prof. Pat Utomi.
