Media reports suggest the Barcelona forward is in Doha to meet Paris St Germain’s Qatari owners before undergoing a medical.

European media report the club could pay as much as €222 million for Neymar.

Paul Pogba’s move from Juventus to Manchester United in 2016 is the most expensive transfer to date at €105 million.

Real Madrid paid €100.8 million for Gareth Bale when he joined from Tottenham in 2013.

The next biggest price tag is €94 million for Cristiano Ronaldo’s move from Manchester United to Real Madrid.

Juventus paid €90 million for Gonzalo Higuain’s transfer from Napoli in 2016.

Neymar currently rounds out the top five with his 2013 signing by Barcelona from Santos for €86.2 million.
