On May 1, 2013, Leke Alder, released his latest book, an eBook called #NOVUS. (NOVUS is Latin for “new”). It is a business development story about a young entrepreneur named Don who is desirous of starting a business but has no idea how to go about it.
The idea for the book was borne out of Leke Alder’s desire to democratise business knowledge, making it available to everyone. As the story unfolds, the protagonist takes a romantic interest in a beautiful young lady (Rasha) – “a conspiracy of nature” as Leke Alder describes her. She has a bitter rival in a figure-eightive beauty (Femi), a dangerous woman if e’er there was one.
#NOVUS (The Beginning) takes readers through idea germination, business conceptualisation, business name generation, ideas for raising finance and more. This is Season 1. Season 2 will soon commence.
Conceptualised as a creative challenge, #NOVUS was written a chapter a day on Twitter. In the novel, Leke Alder celebrated his Twitter followers by inserting them into the narrative as characters. In the first month of publication (February 2013), the novel reached over one million people around the world and the feedback was incredible.
Wrote a reader: “In 14 years of reading, learning, researching, studying and DOING business I have never come across anything this loaded and thought provoking. It is a mine of relevant and absolutely practical business information.”
#NOVUS has been packaged as a beautifully designed eBook, a visual and knowledge delight. It can be downloaded for free at www.lekealderfoundation.org.
Leke Alder Foundation, the charitable & social responsibility arm of Alder Consulting encourages you to download the e-book and make a donation in support of 9 orphanages for whose benefit the book is released. The list of orphanages may be found at www.lekealderfoundation.org.
