An attack at Kuru station, Wereng in Riyomlga of Plateau state has left three members of a family dead: their names were given as Phillip Francis 37, Simi Francis, 28 and Nerat Francis who was only few months old.
From the reports of the villagers who saw it happen, suspected fulani herdsmen are said to have carried out the attack.
The killings comes hours after the leaders of the Christian Association of Nigeria and the Jama’atu Nasiru Islam met at the Jos Central Mosque to discuss ways of maintaining peace in the crisis-ridden state.
