The Avengers, a heroic rescue mission animation of major cartoon heroes premiered in Lagos at the Ozone centre on Thursday ahead of its release in the US and UK today.
“Marvel Avengers Assemble” is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 as a comic, a team of ultimate heroes.
A team of ultimate heroes such as Thor, Iron Man, Captain America and many more are all featured in the movie with an unexpected enemy that emerges to threaten global safety and security.
The premiere at the Ozone center featured life size images of the heroes in the movie and it gave the movie goers, ample opportunity to take photographs with them.
Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D. played by Samuel.L Jackson, finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins for the action full heroes via The Avengers initiative.
The movie stares Robert Downey as the Iron Man, Chris Evans (Captain America) , Mark Ruffalo ( Hulk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson, Samuel .L. Jackson.
The movie was written and directed by Joss Whedon.
