Yvette Wilson, comedian and actress best known for her work on the popular 1990s sitcom “Moesha” and “Parkers” ‘is dead. She passed away at the age of 48.
The actress and comedian died on Thursday in the hospital, after battling with stage 4 Cervical Cancer, said her manager Holly Carter.
Yvette lived in Los Angeles and was born in 1964. She began her acting career as a standup comic and starred in sketch shows “In Living Color” and Thea.
She was also seen in movies such as “Poetic Justice” and “House Party III.” She was able to achieve fame in “Moesha” where she starred alongside with singer Brandy.
In 1999 she featured in popular comedy show “Parkers” alongside with actress Mo’Nique, where they were best friends.
