Airtel Nigeria has appointed Mr Segun Ogunsanya as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Mr Ogunsanya who takes over from Mr Rajan Swaroop, will be responsible for defining and delivering the business strategy and providing overall leadership for Airtel Nigeria.
The chairman, Airtel Nigeria Dr Oba Otudeko, said the appointment is in line with the company’s resolution to continue to build a robust pipeline of local talent in Nigeria as part of Barti Airtel’s Africa leadership initiative.
Mr Ogunsanya brings with him over 24 years of rich industry experience across multiple geographies, organisations and diverse sectors such as coca cola, banking and Arthur Anderson.
