MC Hammer and PSY thrill the audience at the AMA awards

American rapper Stanley Kirk Burrell popularly known as MC Hammer teamed up with South Korean musician PSY to perform the “Gangnam Style” at the just concluded American Music Awards (AMA)

His performance got half of the AMA crowd  dancing the “Gangnam Style” as he performed! It was so well received, despite the fact that nearly nobody knows what the words meant,  MC Hammer himself joined the Korean pop star on stage and danced with him! The two  did a “Too legit to quit- Hammer Time” interlude in the middle of the song. When Hammer joined the stage, the crowd went completely wild as can be seen in the attached video.

PSY and Hammer shared a stage and a fashion sense to perform the Gangnam Style and also one of Hammers’s popular hits done in the 90’s”2 Legit 2 Quit”

It was also an avenue in marking the 40 years anniversary of the AMA awards.
