Kogi ANPP Now Positioned To Win – Daudu

The All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), Kogi State Chapter, has said that it is now well positioned to win overwhelmingly in the forthcoming local government election in the state.

The chairman of the party Hon. Patrick Daudu, stated this while receiving two of his members who are members of the State House of Assembly, Barrister Henry Ojuola and Folusho Daniel who left the ANPP last year to join other parties.

While welcoming the members back to the party, Hon. Daudu noted that the defection of the members to other political parties last year was in error and a clear violation of the provisions of the electoral law 2007 as amended

According to him the party on January 2013, had given the two members 30 days ultimatum to either return to the party or have their seats declared vacant.

Receiving them back to the party they promised to work for the growth and advancement of the party, they enjoined members of the ANPP not to work for the fall of the party in the state, saying that ANPP which used to be the foremost opposition in Nigeria has had its fortunes dwindled due to betrayal from members.

Barrister Henry Ojuola had last year defected to Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), to run as running mate to Prince Abubakar Audu while Folusho Daniel defected to ruling People Democratic Party (PDP).
