Some of the aggrieved governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are meeting with Nigeria’s President, Goodluck Jonathan, in Abuja to discuss issues concerning their defection of some of them to the All Progressives Congress.
Already present at the State House in Abuja are Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto State , Banagida Aliyu of Niger State and Rabiu Kwankaso of Kano State.
Also expected at the meeting is the governor of Jigawa State, Suitalle Lamido.
The Sunday meeting was scheduled after a meeting between the governors of Niger and Jigawa and President Jonathan last week.
The G7 governors stormed out of the party’s national convention in Abuja which became the start of the crisis rocking the party and also the birth of the new PDP.
