Nigeria’s Economy has reshaped to 6.8% – Investment Banker

An Investment Banker, Christian Orajekwe has said that Nigeria’s economy as at 2013 grew to about 6.8%.

He said that the growth had not really affected the average man in terms of what he takes home, or improvement in his standard of living.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Saturday Sunrise programme, Mr. Orajekwe stated that the Federal Government had initiated a couple of reforms right from the democratic dispensation till now, to help the improvement of living in Nigeria.

Mr. Orajekwe insisted on the need for the government to give opportunity for the public and private sectors to collaborate, adding that if the opportunities are given, the government would have a bigger role to play in this collaboration which would enable Nigerians to partake from it fully.

He advised that the government should bring out policies for deregulation.
