Moye-Maleke-IdowuNigeria’s artiste and comedian, Moye “Maleke” Idowu, was the artiste of the week on Channel Television’s programme, Sunrise, and he says most of the songs Nigerian artistes sing are meaningless.

The artiste, whose new song is entitled; ‘No Meaning’, said  he was from both Edo State and Delta State.

He stressed that even his songs are inclusive.

“Few of them are meaningful. In my new song I am trying to point out that we should begin to consider the lyrics of our songs to make it meaningful,” Malake said.

He said that his song ‘Mini Mini Wana Wana’ has no meaning but Nigerians danced to it.

I was just trying to make money when I sang that song he said.

Maleke further stressed the need for Nigerians to be original and sing more in Nigerian dialects.
