The Director General (DG) of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Johnson Olawumi, has warned corps members against being used by politicians during the election.

Brigadier General Olawumi gave the warning at the opening ceremony of the Annual Management Conference of NYSC in Benin City, the Edo State capital, where the participation of corps members in the general election dominated discussions.

He assured that modalities had been put in place to ensure the safety of corps members during the election.

The DG of NYSC who acknowledged that corps members would be deployed for the election warned them against being used by politicians for selfish purposes.
