Austrian club Austria Wien is set to announce about a million Euros deal for former Flying Eagles striker Olanrewaju Kayode.Reports suggest that Kayode’s arrival at Austria Wien will be announced “in the coming days”.
The 21-year-old Kayode has proved to be a prolific striker at modest Israeli club, Maccabi Netanya, and the reward of this will be a lucrative switch to the Austrian Bundesliga.
Netanya are broke and have not been able to pay salaries for the past three months.
In his first season in Israel, Kayode’s 10 goals helped Netanya to gain promotion to the top flight.
This season, he fired 13 goals for his club.
