
Speaking on the side of a National Conference on Political Party Leadership and the 2015 general elections, the Chairman of IPAC, Dr Yinusa Tanko, told Channels Television that there is a need for the APC as well as political parties to come together and draft a new electoral act that will take care of the interest of all parties in the electoral process.
The conference also discussed the 35 percent affirmative action in the constitution of the cabinet of the Federal Government.
The inclusion of women in elective positions in government also came to the fore during the no holds barred conference.
Members of the various parties in attendance were united in their advocacy for the government of the day to match words with action by running an all-inclusive government and fulfilling the expectations of Nigerians.
