Court To Arraign Suspected Kuje And Nyanya Blasts Masterminds

Five persons suspected to have masterminded the October 2nd, 2015 bomb blast in Kuje and Nyanya, two satellite towns in Abuja, are to be arraigned before a Federal High Court in Abuja.

The suspects, who are all from Kogi State, are Abdulazeez Muhazab, Ishaka Salihu, Mohammed Jimoh, Abdulwaheed Nasiru and Abdullahi Nasiru.

The five suspects, who were arrested in Abuja on the 6th of October along Airport Road, are being charged for alleged acts of terrorism contrary to Section 2 (a) of the Terrorism Prevention Act, 2013.

A total of 20 deaths and 41 injured was recorded from the three blasts that rocked Nyanya and Kuje, both suburbs of Abuja.
