Cable Colloquium Panelists Debate On Naira Devaluation

Panelists at the Cable Colloquium are debating whether the Naira should be devalued or not.

The debate focuses on the issues surrounding the Exchange Rate.

The ongoing event at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, has in attendance, Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, former Vice President of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Issa Aremu, businessmen and women amongst others.

Edo State Governor while giving his address encouraged Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s decision on not to devalue the Nigeria.

He advocated for more products and factories to be built in Nigeria which will help strengthen the Naira and the nation’s economy.

Governor Oshiomhole also called on investment bankers to be against the Naira devaluation which will help stop the demand for foreign products.
