Oyo Police Avert Clashes Between Herdsmen And Farmers

The Oyo State Police Command has averted a communal clash that could have turned bloody between Fulani herdsmen and farmers in Agbanda village, Ikoyi Ile in Ogbomosho.

The Oyo State Police Commissioner, Adeleye Oyebade, who led the Police to the village appealed to the farmers and Fulani settlers to allow peace reign and warned that any further breach of order would not be tolerated.

The indigenes accused the herdsmen of allegedly destroying their farmland and raping their daughters and wives.
