A statement by her Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mrs Olamide Adesoro said while felicitating with the Muslims, urged them to remain steadfast in the worship of Allah and to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad-SAW as they did during the month of Ramadan.
Mrs Bello admonished the people of Kogi, especially the women, to intensify prayers for peaceful co-existence in the state.
She reminded them that no meaningful progress can take place in any society in the absence of peace.
The First Lady also appealed to Kogites to imbibe the spirit of tolerance, obedience and respect for constituted authority for the collective advancement of the state.
She called for religious tolerance among various faiths in the state, stressing that “it was not by accident that God allowed us to be brought together as one state”.
She reiterated the need for peace if the desired development would be achieved.
