APC Chairman Calls For Ceasefire Between Senate And Executive

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Oyegun, has called for a ceasefire between the Senate and the Executive.

Mr Oyegun, made the appeal after a meeting of the party’s National Working Committee with the APC caucus in the Senate.

The meeting which lasted for more than three hours, sought to address the acrimony between the Senate and the Executive.

The Chairman therefore called on the government at all levels, to maintain respect and civility with each other.

Also speaking to journalists after the meeting, Senate President, Bukola Saraki, said the Senate has resolved to focus on issues which would benefit the country.
