Rivers Angels are aiming to build on their first round performance in the Nigeria Women’s Football League when the second round starts on June 7.

Technical adviser of the defending champions Edwin Okon is banking on the unbeaten run but wants the ladies to start securing away victories.

They won all three home matches and drew three away games from home to lead Group A with 12 points.

The quest to retain the title they won last season will continue in Nembe when they face Bayelsa Queens next week Wednesday.
