Army Shares Pictures Of ‘Propaganda Activities’ By Terrorists

 

The Nigerian Army on Saturday shared some pictures of purported online propaganda activities by the Boko Haram terrorist group.

The pictures posted on the Army’s social media platforms were to prove some of the latest achievements recorded by the military in the fight against insurgency in the North East.

One of the successes is the killing of a key member of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) – the Boko Haram factional group believed to have abducted Leah Sharibu.

The Army revealed that Ahmad Sale, who was ISWAP media chief, died during a joint operation by own troops and personnel of the Nigerian Air Force.

It added that it has identified one Abul-Fadl Iyad Gali as the new leader of a new terrorist group which Ansaru is affiliated to – Jama’atu Nus’ratul-Islami Wal-Muslimina.
