The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Uche Secondus is seeking more reward for frontline workers who are treating COVID-19 patients.
He stated this in his goodwill message to Nigerian workers on International Labour Day, commending their age-long sacrifice for the growth of the nation.
He noted that even in the current challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic, Nigeria health Workers and other essential workers have remained in the frontline taking most risks with little or no reward.

The National Chairman accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for not attending to the plight of the workers.
“The workers and the poor in our society remain, vulnerable victims of this misrule, a situation that calls for all hands to be on deck as the nation struggles to scale the hurdle of APC”.
He urged the workers to remain resolute and prayerful for God to bring light at the end of the tunnel. ‘Happy Workers Day to you all’.
