Nkwonta Congratulates Taraba Governor-Elect Kefas

 

 

The House of Representatives Member-Elect in Abia State, Chris Nkwonta has Congratulated the Taraba State Governor-Elect and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Lt. Col. Agbu Kefas (Rtd).

Agbu scored 257,926 votes to edge out the candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Muhammad Yahaya, who polled 202,277. In third place, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Emmanuel Bwacha, garnered 142,502 votes.

In his Message signed by the Chidi Nwankpa, the Head of Communications and Public Affairs for Chris Nkwonta Campaign Council, Nkwonta said the people of Taraba State have expressed their confidence in the Governor-Elect.

He described Kefas “as a personal friend and an outstanding achiever in his years as a public servant in the Nigerian Army, Chairman of the Governing Board of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and Taraba State PDP Chairman respectively.”

Nkwonta is confident that Kefas will “lead Taraba State towards greater heights and excellent achievements,” as expressed by the people through the ballots.

The Abia Rep-Elect prayed that God will grant Kefas good health, wisdom and insights to fulfil the collective aspirations of the Taraba people as well as his vision for a greater, peaceful, competitive and prosperous state.
