In a heartbreaking incident, 30-year-old Brazilian gospel singer, Pedro Henrique, passed away during a performance on Wednesday night in Feira de Santana.
Henrique, while singing ‘Vai Ser Tão Lindo’ at a religious event streamed online, collapsed on stage, leading to his untimely demise.
Todah Music, the record label representing Henrique, confirmed his death on its official Instagram page, stating that the talented singer suffered a heart attack.

Todah Music said, “There are very difficult situations in life for which we have no explanation.
“We just need to understand that the will of God prevails! We believe Peter will have a prominent place in the great Heavenly Choir!
“The songs in his voice will not die, and his legacy will live on through his wife, his daughter, Zoe, and so many lives that have been and will be reached by Christ through the records of his voice,” the record said.
“To Suilan (his wife) and all family and friends our deepest condolences, our respect, our full support in every area we can help, and our sincere hug!
“We rejoiced so many times together, and now we cry with those who cry.
The Christian music segment is mourning. Todah music family is mourning Heaven in choir and receiving an illustrious son.”

A video capturing the incident revealed Henrique interacting with the audience at the edge of the stage, performing with the live band in worship, before losing his balance and collapsing.
Henrique left behind a wife, Suilan Barreto, and a daughter, Zoe.
