Former member of the House of Representatives, Joan Onyemaechi, has regained her freedom from the kidnappers’ den.
The Delta State Police Command her release to Channels Television on Saturday.
Spokesman for the Command, Bright Edafe, said the former lawmaker was released on Friday night.
He was, however, silent on whether any ransom was paid to secure her freedom, saying details would be communicated later.

Onyemaechi was a one-time member of the House of Representatives, a former member of the Delta State House of Assembly and also the immediate past Commissioner for Technical Education in the state
She was abducted by gunmen on July 30 from her church premises along the DBS Road in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
