Kwara Gov Sues Two Over Alleged Incitement

‎The two men were arraigned before Justice Muhammed Abdulgafar at the State High Court on Monday.

‎Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has sued a politician and businessman, Moshood Mustapha; and his brother, Bolakale Mustapha, over alleged disturbance of public peace, false declaration, and uploading of an online video that could incite the public against the governor.

‎The two men were arraigned before Justice Muhammed Abdulgafar at the State High Court on Monday.

‎They, however, pleaded not guilty to the five counts levelled against them in the video the governor said could caused public incitement against him and the government.

‎They were granted bail in the sum of five million naira, while the case was adjourned till July 18, 2025, for commencement of trial.

‎The case looks unique as the second defendant is a member of the All Progressives Congress before a fallout with the governor and the public are waiting to know how the case will end.
