[VIDEO] Turaki-Led PDP Claims It Has Cleared Jonathan As Sole Candidate

According to the PDP National Working Committee, it granted Jonathan a waiver to contest, officially announcing his candidacy.

A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, says it has cleared former President Goodluck Jonathan as its sole presidential candidate ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to the PDP National Working Committee, on Tuesday, it granted Jonathan a waiver to contest, officially announcing his candidacy.

Representatives stated that screening remains ongoing for other party positions, confidently asserting that attempts to destabilise the PDP have failed.
