Chelsea in fresh bid for Victor Moses

Stanford Bridge club and current European champion Chelsea are so on the tail of Nigerian and Wigan striker Victor Moses as the club launched a fresh bid for the signature of the Wigan striker notching it up to £9 million.

The new offer making it the fourth for the Nigerian was rejected by his present club Wigan because the offers were not in the range of the striker’s value which is put at £10 million by Chairman Dave Whelan, who is interested only in a cash deal.

In the previous offers, Chelsea decided to push forward Josh McEachran or Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea to have Moses on the Blues line-up. Although talks between both English clubs now we hear is going smoothly meaning an agreement will soon be reached on the striker.

Chelsea narrowed down their search for a striker to Victor Moses after bidding for several players for the upfront position but the Nigerian seemed to tickle the fancy of the Chelsea management because of his potential and the fact he will also qualify as a home-grown player for the UEFA Champions League.

Chelsea we hear is ready to make an upfront payment of £6 million then another £3 million in performance and it is hoped that this deal be sealed with this bid.
