The demand was made during a press briefing by the state Chairman of PDP in Anambra State, Mr Ken Emeakayi, in Awka.
He also requested the governor to make public the total contract sum of the overhead bridge and flyover projects embarked upon by his administration in June 2014.
The letter started with points of observation of the party in the area of Local Government (LG) administration in Ihiala and Nnewi North, and a plan by the state government to appoint transition committees to man the LG administration in the 21 council areas at the expiration of the present elected members in January 2016.
Others issues raised by the PDP Chairman included the accusation that Obiano is funding the ongoing Anambra APGA Secretariat project with the state funds.
The allegations that the National and State Chairmen of APGA drew millions of naira from the account the of Anambra State Government as allowances were also dismissed.
However in a swift reaction, the State Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Mr Tony ifeanya said the PDP chose to ridicule the role of opposition in a healthy democracy, as matters concerning LG election is the exclusive preserve of the Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC), and never the duty of Governor Obiano.
Mr Ifeanya also drew the attention of the PDP to the feat achieved by Governor Obiano barely one year in office, when Anambra emerged tops on the International Public Accounting System survey as Nigeria’s most transparent and accountable state, achieving over 80 per cent fiscal merit.
He advised the PDP to let the peace in the state flourish while the governor continues with his transformation strides in the state.
