The Kwara State Government has promoted 1,050 workers, as part of efforts to boost their morale.
Addressing journalists, the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, Salman Adelodun Ibrahim, said they passed the promotion examination out of the 1,279 that sat for the examination.
Mr. Ibrahim also noted that the promotion was coming at a time when some states had not promoted their workers for five years.
He also commended the state governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, for giving the commission approval for the promotion, also calling on the beneficiaries to justify the promotion.
