Ado-Ikere Ekiti Road Dualisation Reaches Final Phase

Rivers, Road, BodoRivers State government has flagged off the reconstruction of the Kpopie-Bodo road in the state in South-south Nigeria.

The people of Bodo community in Gokana Local Government Area of the state are the latest to benefit from Governor Nyesom Wike’s campaign promises to embark on massive infrastructure development in Rivers State.

The road, according to them, had been abandoned for the past six years by the past administration. They said it would ease movement of the people in and out of town, as they go about their daily activities.

The people of the community were in the mood of celebration, as they awaited the arrival of the Governor and his team for the flag off of the road under-going reconstruction.

On his arrival, Governor Wike addressed the people, saying the project was expected to be completed in three months.

The Commissioner for Works in the state, Mr Bathuel Iheanyichukwu, hinted that the road was 9.8 kilometres and 10 metres width.

He said it would be revamped with full street lights to support the security of its users.

The people of Bodo community thanked the Governor, expressing hope that the completion of the road would make life better for them.
