
The royal father who made the request, while receiving the management of the institution led by the Rector, Professor Matthew Ajibero who paid him a courtesy visit at his palace in Idah, said the killer should not be allowed to walk freely.
The Kogi State Polytechnic which was shut down sometime in April, at the wake of the ethnic crisis between the Ebira and Igala has since been re-opened for academic session, and students recently completed their first semester examination which was disrupted due to the crisis.
The monarch noted that the recent crisis that rocked the institution which claimed the life of one of his subject, late Nathaniel Abimaje was a setback for the higher institution and the community.
He however stated that he was surprised to see people still playing tribal sentiment in this new age.
