Goalkeeper Manuel Almunia plus seven other players will be leaving Arsenal this summer.
This is due to the expiration of Almunia’s contract thereby ending an eight-year football romance with the Gunners come 30th June when his own contract expires.
The shot-stopper kept 70 clean sheets in 175 appearances for the Gunners but fell out of favour last season.
The 35-year-old played four times during a loan spell at West Ham this term and has been linked with a return to Upton Park.
Other players leaving the Gunners are: George Brislen-Hall, Sean McDermott, Rhys Murphy, James Campbell and Jeffrey Monakana and defender Gavin Hoyte who is the only one that had first-team experience of all the players leaving the club.
