As part of efforts to harness the agriculture potential in the country, the federal government has designated seven airports as agro-perishable airports.

These were the comments of the minister of aviation, Mrs. Stella Oduah, who spoke at a ministerial press briefing in Abuja; she said the aviation sector with a projected revenue profile of one hundred and twenty billion naira will contribute three percent to the nation’s gross domestic product by the end of 2013.
