The nation’s foreign exchange reserves rose to more than 29-month high of $41.12 billion by September 26, and were up 7.16 per cent month-on-month, the Central Bank of Nigeria has announced.
The reserves have not been as high since April 19, 2010, when they stood at $41.16 billion.
Foreign reserves are up from $38.37 billion on August 27 and from $34.39 billion a year ago.
