Former National Football League star and Hollywood actor, O.J. Simpson is seeking re-trial of his 2008 case which he claimed that he wasn’t represented properly.
Simpson returned to a Las Vegas courtroom today to make a case for his proposed re-trial in the armed robbery and kidnapping conviction so it can be thrown out on the basis of non-suitable legal representation during the trial.
Simpson was serving a sentence of 3 to 33 years in prison for taking part in a scheme to recover sports memorabilia he claimed was stolen from him.
His current legal team will argue his conviction should be overturned and a new trial be granted on the basis of inadequate legal representation.
